Floating mat on sailboat?

Anyone have experience rolling and storing one of the large (6'x18') floating mats on a sailboat? Rolled size should be about 6'x2.5'. I'm guessing it'd be easy for two people to roll then secure to the fore deck similar to a dinghy or between mast and shrouds further aft if it interferes with tacking

Power boaters store on their wide swim platforms or rear deck. My boat is a Catalina 34 with sugar-scope swim platform. I don't remember seeing any on sailboats around here.

I have a floating inflatable island. I keep it stowed just forward of the dodger under the boom.

There are no rules about what you can bring on your boat. It's your boat, do what you want! We'd not have it on our boat, because we have a "clean decks" policy. But we cross oceans, so our needs are different.

I would suggest that you might look for an inflatable version that would store in a smaller space.
