Christmas tree on board?

Has anybody else out there got a Christmas tree on board, or is it just me?

Re: Christmas tree on board?

Just got ours three days ago. This is a great season to look back at where we were a year ago, since I can't remember when any other things happen throughout the year.

Down in Florida I've got a gator head with a Santa hat stuck in his mouth.

Re: Christmas tree on board?

Every year for eighteen years we've had a tree aboard, starting with the two footers and working up to a full sized tree on our bigger boats. This year the boat is hauled out in the yard for Christmas and the interior is all masked off.

A big tree in a big house is nice, but it's just not the same.

Re: Christmas tree on board?

We always put up a very small tree on board our boat. It worked because Santa came every year no matter where we were in the world. And that was before we had cell phones.

Re: Christmas tree on board?

Christmas tree was put up on board in the saloon on the 1st of December. Stockings too, so that Santa has something to fill .

A few Christmas quotes I like:
"The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live"
George Carlin

"Handmade presents are scary because they reveal that you have too much free time"
Doug Coupland

"Let's be naughty and save Santa the trip"
Gary Allan

"There are three stages of man: he believes in Santa Claus; he does not believe in Santa Claus; he is Santa Claus"
Bob Phillips
(I am still as stage one LOL, I figure if you don’t believe he will never come visiting!).

Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings everyone!
