Good one, Den. I think you're pulling our collective leg there.

In New York, "Jeter" can only mean one person - Derek Jeter of the NY Yankees. It's a bit like referring to "McEnroe." Everyone knows that means John McEnroe, and not his brother Patrick.

Not on the water but still on the islands. I work on drug detection equipment. When I was training the Antiguans Eric Clapton came through the airport checkpoint and was the next random search (he passed btw). He wasn't happy about being tested but otherwise cordial.

Also, in St. Lucia at the ariport in Castries I ran into Kenny G just after the jaz festival. Sat and had a nice chat with him, great guy.

Plenty of others in the US and UK airports, for some reason most aren't happy to see me though... I wonder why?

I'm not a sports fan in any way shape or form. LOL. And I can't keep track half the time what celebrity is who now that they all seem to go by one name or some weird abbreviation coined by the media.

oops..

John Amos was a dock mate in La Paz.

The do a lot of shoots in my former marina in San Pedro. Saw several celebs. My little brown Indonseian wife was impressed when Madonna walked by our boat.

I Got a parking ticket in the marina for parking 2 of my cars too long in one spot. Normally it wasn't an issue, but Jennifer Aniston and Ben Afleck were doing a shoot there and keeping tabs on vehicles was one way the dicouraged the "Pappa Rock See".

Unless I was getting paid to move my boat into a shot or out of a shot, it was all a PITA.

Michael Jeter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I thought Gordo's research team would've beat me to it...
Character actor Michael Jeter recently died at age 50. He made more than 30 movie, television, and theater appearances.

I was on a nice Bertram in Puerto Vallarta a couple of years ago. We went into a bay and there was a 90+ foot Azimut. Turned out it was Oscar De La Hoya's. Sweet ride.

Oh, I beat Peter Fonda in a game of pool at the Banff Springs Hotel once. Took $5 from him. I think he could afford it. Not boating related but it was a great shot.
