Box wines

My wife and I have been rating some box wines because they store better on a boat and have found 3 wines that we feel are pretty good.LAJOYA,a cab/shiraz from Chile and a merlotand a cabernet from BLACK BOX.The cab is excellent in my opinion. Will add more wines in the future if we find some good ones.
Some one else will have to do White Wines. We do not drink whites very often.

To aid storage a tad more, take the bladder out of the box and store flat.
I am disapointed you have no NZ wines in the list. Look For Marlborough produced wines from NZ. Our reds are not upto Chile and Oz standards, but are Sauv's are the best in the world.

I've found the Black Box Chardonnay to be good - surprisingly so.

A couple glasses of it - then you can switch to the rotgut Franzia box...

I should like to quibble about you posting a thread about wine under the subject of entertainment.

Surely this should be listed under "Essentials"

Personally prefer the boxed Hardy's wines (from Oz) as they seem to travel better.
