where on Catalina is Cat Harbor?

I searched it on the web and I don't find a map that actually points it out under that name. Is it one of the Two Harbors? Is it short for Catalina Harbor? I've seen many references to it with varying descriptions of where it is, so I just want to nail it down. Thanks for responding.

Yes these are the Two Harbors.
Cat (Catalina) Harbor is the one on the South side. Banning Harbor is on the North.

Look at the northwest third of the island, then look at the isthmus, then look at the southern side of the isthmus for Catalina Harbor.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Zen.

Catalina Is. is west/east on the charts. Go around the east end, it seems longer but easier seas usually. Best done in the early part of the day. The Island pinches off to a 1 mile flat dirt road connecting Cat Harbor to the Isthmas amentities, bar, store, restaurant and ferry travel from the mainland. It's a nice walk in from there also showers and washing machines and camp spots. Dingy dock and water available at the Cat side landing, plus a bbq spot for bigger land based parties. Do not pet the buffalo! If your dog likes to wander off leash there are tons of cactus spines to watch out for. Great anchorage. Mostly mooring balls to rent now. Usually a quiet anchorage.

As if there's anywhere else to meet. Not a lot of options.

It is at 33 degrees, 25 minutes, 30 seconds latitude north and 118 degrees 30 minutes and 30 seconds longitude west. It is the south facing harbor of "Two Harbors" west of Avalon, Catalina.
