Norfolk marina multihull friendly?

Norfolk VA. Near the intercostal as the boat will be coming north as we meet for a crew swap and weather window.

Thanks

Re: Norfolk marina multihull friendly?

I love Salt Ponds Marina. There are a few multihulls in there, but I must say that the entrance is a bit tight (width) and you should mind the tide (maybe not so much on a shallow draft cat). I love the place.

I would also take a look at Cobb's, I just don't know if they take cats.

The marinas on the ICW, I just didn't like.

Re: Norfolk marina multihull friendly?

Atlantic Yacht Basin...Chesapeake VA. Easy side tie for cats..on the ICW and about 13 miles south of mile marker 0... 14 miles to the airport

Downtown Norfolk: Waterside Marina & Tidewater Yacht.......both right at mile marker 0 on the ICW, both can handle cats depending on the size...about 8 miles from Chesapeake Bay and maybe 8or 9 miles to the airport.

Little Creek area...Several marinas here. Bay Point Marina, Cobbs Marina, Vinnings Landing & others...direct immediate access to the Chesapeake Bay and closest marinas to the ocean (5 miles) most cat friendly(dogs too). 4 miles to the airport.

All of the above have easy access and no water depth issues.
Have fun!
