Wondering how marinas fared with these two storms? Obviously Big Bend was hit by Helene and the new improvements after Idalia at places like Steinhatchee were impacted.

Does anyone have information on Snead Island, Marina Jack, Safe harbor Manatee, Two Dolphins, etc.?

With Salt Creek yards being closed, I suspect there will be a shortage of services. Working waterfronts and facilities for regular folks are disappearing in trade for condos.

Sarasota County Emergency Management Chief, Sandra Tapfumaneyi, informed the county’s residents, in a video [1] (notice occurs @ 1:18), that the agency has gotten reports of people walking around with fake FEMA badges, and asking people for their banking information.
FEMA is reporting that individuals are walking around with fake FEMA badges and scamming our community [Sarasoto County]. FEMA will NEVER ask for your bank account information. Do NOT give cash to anyone who says they are from FEMA. If someone is from FEMA, they will have a government badge and will help you sign up online.
