Looking for a Dry Storage Marina / Boatyard in Virginia

Hi,

I am potentially looking to store a 38ft sailboat on the dry, in Virginia. I have family near Richmond, VA (but I dont know well the area), so the closer the better, but it's not critical.

The boat would be stored there until April, then I would move there to work on it. So, a DIY boatyard would be good too.

Obviously, I am looking for hopefully cheap places but service is important too

Let me know if you would recommend any marinas / boatyards in Virginia.

I used Deltaville Boatyard a number of times when we lived on a little creek off the Chesapeake in Lancaster County, and was very happy with the experience. That was several years ago, though, and things can change. Deltaville has a bunch of marinas, and is about an hour and a half drive from Richmond--as close as anything else you'll find.

I ended up storing the boat at the Schroeder Yacht Systems boatyard in Deltaville, VA. They were very friendly, small type boatyard, and a very good price.
