Excellent marinas for Central Florida Gulf coast?

We currently have a 30' Stamas Express with a single inboard, generator and A/C. We're looking for suggestions for excellent places to "hole up" at local marinas that have full facilities and easy walking to restaurants and night life. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. We have done Clearwater Beach Marina, Marina Jack and Dunedin.

If you can get in at St. Petersburg Municipal you are walking distance to restaurants, bars, theaters, a grocery store, the works. Gulfport Municipal is also convenient to most of that sort of stuff.

The harborage in St. Petersburg has what you are looking for and is much nicer than the St. Petersburg municipal Marina.

Re: Excellent marinas for Central Florida Gulf coast?

Thanks to all for all of the great suggestions. I know that we'll try a few of these and report back on our experiences. We're going to explore more of the "camping" side of boating since it really ticks me off to spend $200 to $300 in fuel to bring home my 2 allowable grouper. Those are expensive fish.
