Show Off Your Burgee!
For those members who have ordered a CF burgee, please post a photo of it here. This way everyone can see what they look like and hopefully fly one themselves. Won't it be cool to see another CF member pulling to anchor near you!

Re: Show Off Your Burgee!
We've been flying the CF burgee (port side as courtesy flag flown from stbd spreader). I'm afraid my camera isn't much good, and even so, probably much better than me at taking pictures. The other picture is just us.

Re: Show Off Your Burgee!
Andy,
Sorry to say that we spent the month of April cruising and I could not keep it up. The silly people put the pulley on the spreader directly in front of a stay and at almost all wind angles the tail whips the stay. I will have to put up another in another place.
Unless you have a replacement policy for worn out/torn ones.

Re: Show Off Your Burgee !
We got our burgee last weekend from one of the moderators who lives close by. I had to cut the end off a couple of inches to not slap a spreader still looks great.

If that is acceptable then I will do that (the wife) so it can fly.

Re: Show Off Your Burgee !
My wife had me save the cut piece so she could sew the binding on it back to the burgee so it would not unravel. It flyes great in a breeze over 15 kt's and should hold up

Permanent place...
I put a couple of self adhesive hooks on the main cabin bulkhead so it can have pride of place. Still haven't got a proper halyard though.

Re: Show Off Your Burgee !
I am afraid that if it is cut off at the tip many will sneer at it as it would be "wrong"
??

Re: Show Off Your Burgee !
I'm glad I cut the tip off so I can sleep at night with it not banging against a baby stay that's thru deck right over my pillow. I'm the only boat in my marina with a great looking CF burgee so who cares if I modified it to fit my catamaran.
