I just wanted to make a quick post to let all our members know about some childish drama that has taken place today. We had a
member who is starting a new
Multihull Forum and created a thread here to recruit members from our site to their site. This is against our policies not because it's a competing site but because it was located on a
commercial website which is strictly prohibited. We also make every effort to protect our members and communtiy from becoming a place where people come to simply harvest our
member base. We hope you can understand we do this protect the community from becoming a dumping ground for solicitation requests to visit other sites.
This user has gone on to stir the pot which caused accusations of censorship from other members. I would like to address this right now, we do not censor discussions that are within the confines of our Community Rules. I would like to urge our members to review our Community Rules which are located at the bottom right of every page. Here is a link for easy access.

Our volunteer mod team works very hard to create a friendly informative
environment for sailors from around the world to participate in. We have seen various forum on the
internet implode with negative energy and we are not going to let that happen here. So please respect our decisions, if you cannot do so then your privileges to participate in discussions here will be revoked.
