UK passport holder leaving the EU

Hi

My boat is currently in a small marina in Benicarlo Spain. I am wanting to sail to Tunisia reset the VAT clock. I also need to get my UK passport stamped to ensue that the EU recognises that I have left. Any idea as to how to go about doing this?

Many thanks

If its not possible at your local C&I office in the marina I would suggest you sail to Palma de Mallorca and do it there before heading direct to Tunisia.
Personally I would leave it till I got to Malta and do it there, who knows what complications may arise over the 1000nm which necessitates a stop along the way that needs you having the complications of getting stamped in and out again.

...not much point waiting to get to Malta. If you check in there you can remain 'crew in-transit' with a exit stamp from Spain or any other EU country and not be identified as having entered the Schengen zone.... even though Malta is in Schengen.

You could get your passport stamped out and back in and then sail back to Spain to reset your clock.

You could of course sail to Mallorca, get a marina receipt and sail back through international waters to Benicarlo.
