Registration While Cruising

We have managed to be near a mailbox each June when our USCG documention certificate shows up but this will not be the case this year. I wonder how folks manage to keep their registration papers up to date while on the move?

In practice I've never had an official check the expiration date on my registration, but still....

Re: Registration while cruising

Change the mailing address to the address of someone you know and trust. Give them specific power of attorney. They can sign the document on your behalf and send it to USCG.

During random safety inspections, I have never had USCG check whether I sent my paperwork in.
