I have found researching Pnamanian visa requirements for various crew to be difficult with confusing online information. US or Schengen passport holders, as usual, have an easy time not requiring visas for entry, but here is one example I am researching for an upcoming transit January 2022: I have a Philippino crewmember. Like with most countries, Philippinos are treated like lepers and have the harshest visa requirements, but considering Panama's "passageway to the world" situation it is a shame that they require a "Stamped Visa" which has a very complicated application process as far as I can tell, including a flight ticket which is ridiculous considering we are entering and leaving by boat!
QUESTIONS:
Do any of you have experience with this?
Have any if you just pre$ented without visas that are required and wangled your way in anyway?
Considering
shipping with Panamanian crews - is it possible for crew to enter if they stay with the ship without a visa (like professional shipping)?
