Hello,
I have a 22'
Catalina and was wondering what the
regulations are regarding overnight
anchoring in the Caloosahatchee River, or near the mouth of the river. I live in Buckingham (Fort Myers) and sail most weekends, however would love to be able to leave it in the
water on occasion for a few days at a time. Launching and retrieving/ stepping the
mast is no fun and would much rather
dinghy out to it in the mornings.
I have been researching laws on
anchoring in the river, but have come up empty handed.
I am also open to the idea of
renting a
mooring ball on a permanent, or semi permanent basis, depending on cost of course.
If anyone could give me some feedback, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
