I was wondering if the costal EU is full of these refugees and if it has cause crime to go up or people to try to rob sailors in their sleep.

Can somone tell me about leaving via the Suez Canal and the state off all these people flooding in. what has changed besides terror attacks up in Sweeden and france etc?
Europe is just fine... Turkey is just fine..
Would recommend staying clear of N African countries bar Tunisia and Morroco.. not because of terror.. more because of the hassle if you get tugged by one of their patrol boats.. takes ages to sort out why your in their waters..
Suez is safe along with much of the RedSea.. Yemen and Somalia will be the choke points for possible trouble..
Just relax and stop reading newspapers and watching tv.. they love drama it boosts sales and ratings.
And Catnewbe suffers from diareaha..

Its all about perspective.

Perhaps safer than one of the favelas in Rio, but certainly not safer than the Bronx. Per the Daily and Sunday Express, Malmo in January alone, they were investigating eleven murders. The Bronx in the same year (2017) averages six murders. Your comment about firearm crimes is also incorrect. Per the Malmo police chief, they are investigating a spate of bombings, shootings and arson sttacks. This in a town of just under 350,000. in July of 2016, national police units were deployed for the second time to the city to help stop a spate of bombings, shootings and arson attacks. Hardly what one would call a safe place.

The Bronx in contrast has just under 1.5 million people yet averaged in 2017 approximately six murders per month. There were no bombings that I know of and I live here. The news would be all over it if there were such an event.

The violence of Malmo is well documented and one only needs to do a very cursory and quick search to see what is going on. Having said this I am not suggesting one should be afraid. One should however exercise caution and good planning. Denying reality is not helpful nor safe.
