Insuring US Vessel In Cuba

Good news, I was able to get approval to go to Cuba.

Bad news, my insurance company will not cover me while in Cuban waters.

Military and the tug that brings supplies to Gitmo, excluded---

Has anyone taken a US Flagged vessel to Cuba? How did you handle insurance?

You get insurance from a non-USA company. Lots of high-quality good choices and reasonable rates.

A friend of mine went and signed up with Lloyds for the couple of months he was there. US flagged, French citizen, so I am not sure how it would work for you.
