indonesian wife

I am wondering how difficult acquiring visa's, and such will be with my Indonesian wife. She has her American green card. Will getting visa's be more problematic for her, or will she be treated same as a regular American?

Re: indonesian wife

Visa rules will apply to her country of citizenship (Indonesia) The green card is a visa to live and work in the US, but does not substitute a passport.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, terryc2407.

Visas are granted by the country you're visiting.
To which countries would you like to travel?

Re: indonesian wife

Hi Terry. I had a green card for years before I received dual citizenship. If I remember correctly, a person with a green card cannot leave the country for longer than 6 months at a time. Hope this helps. As for Visa's into another country other tha the US, the country she is entering has their own criteria for her country of which she holds a passport for.

I love to travel, so what country I don't want to travel to is easiest to answer. But realistically all the country's that are not at war with America and that are affordable to visit.
