Question Florida regulations

I asked this on the Lats& Atts BB before but I think it is a good question. What regulations does Florida have for cruisers. such as anchoring, permits, how long can you stay at anchor at one time. Etc. etc.

I don't think it is fair to make me pay to stay in florida. They don't make to buy florida plates for your car if you stay more than 90 days , do they?

FLA. Reg's

Excellent article cited above.
Yep, they'l want you to register your car after 90 days. Also get a FL. driver's license (surrendering you're old one).
There are very few legal anchorages in S. Florida - Boot Key Harbour @ Marathon is one.
Many municipalities have very restrictive live-aboard bylaws
ie: Ft. Lauderdale requires FULL-TIME connection to shore waste pump-out at their few legal live-aboard sites (Isle of Venice & Hendicks Isle - off Las Olas Blvd).
It's getting tough to be a live-aboard!!!

Does Florida have a "cruiser patrol" out looking for non Florida boats? It sounds very unfair to me. It is a double cost because Michigan requites a 3 year registration and mine will have 2 years left when I get to Florida.
