Florida Boaters Unite: defeat HB 955 and SB 1126

End the pilot program. Call your reps and tell them not to reauthorize the anchoring pilot program.

If they don't have the info they need yet, 3 more years or hassling boaters will not help.

HB 955 and SB 1126 include a 3 year extension of the program. It will be voted on this spring.

Please no arguments on her for or against. just call your rep and tell them your views!

I will let them know my views as you request, that they extend the program.

Why no "for" or "against"?

Seems to be a debate here would make the most sense. I'm both a Florida voter and homeowner. Why should I vote for or against this? What do I stand to gain or lose?

Ouch! That didn't work out as expected. Dead even at 1 - 1. Sounds like a little debate may be necessary.

It might be best to start with a description of what the program is.

Other threads I guess for discussion. For this we're just told to call with our view, which I don't mind. But we're also told to tell them to end the program. That seemed presumptuous toward everyone being opposed.

Why are you all being so difficult? He has told you how to vote, now get on with it.

We're just like children. You tell us what to do and we're going to do the opposite.
