Error in my Mexican TIP

I have had my TIP for almost a year and checked in and out of several ports in Mexico with no issues.
The other day I was look at my paperwork and noticed that the MAT./REG. (USCG Documentation Number) was incorrect.
I was wondering if anyone else has had an error on a TIP and how they went about correcting it.

you will need to go to the proper bank--banjercito--to correct it. it is supposedly also possible to revise it via consulate. (i googled)
if you are in mexico, i would start with banjercito. in usa i would go to mexican consulate.
