Re: Civil Rights Attorney Needed Marathon FL

Do RV people go thru any of this can they be in FL over 90 days without registering? Maybe I'll just put the boat on the trailer and park it instead of anchoring it.

If the good Reverend Jessie or Sharpton are busy...

Why don't you get BoatUs involved??? They invented the boating by lawyer game...

This is absolutely appalling. OP can you use the "power of the press"? Contact the miami tv stations, local newspapers?

A bit off topic, but biological parents have to have a third party corporation do a background check to attend any events at my sons public elementary school!

Always nice to hear when someone with pull can actually get something done. Would love to hear a follow up after this gets "settled". Best of luck to the OP and all affected.

Also talk to the marina managment. Many times they do not know what is goi.g on at night. Also contact other city state agencies. If some one was on our boat I would call911 as most marinas are city regulated.

Water just like land is zone and regulate so knowi.g who owns regulates is impotant. 10+ year ago Seattle went thru the same sort of thing. However they picked the wrong marine and live aboard.

Another example of the police state we live in, with the loss of freedom everywhere.

The SSCA (Seven Seas Cruising Association) takes active rolls in these type of boater issues....I would recommend getting them involved!

If we don't stand up for our Rights...then we lose them.

Re: Civil Rights Attorney Needed Marathon FL

what we learned in san diego during our more than decade long war against harrassment is that the govt can do whatever they want to do.
we are in the minority.
what was gorgeous scenery once is now declared ugliness and dereliction,as we allegedly pay no property taxes....the anchorages were closed due to the elevated number of callouts for the police to answer--you can bet someone is calling during night for that express purpose, as i have watched your problems emulate san diegos and washingtons and others.
we learned there is no RIGHT to anchor, that it is a privilege...even in federal waters.
we learned it is a local criminal act to own a boat and have a lower income.
good luck.i hope you guys win.
yes the bunch in sd had lawyers and mouths.
we are outnumbered grossly and there is no fairness factor, nor right to our lifestyle. we have been listed as criminal element in many places.

I think I would call the newspaper reporters. this would make for a juicy story in Miami. Or call bill o'reilly.
