Circumnavigating with a Venezuelan Passport

I have a US documented boat and I am a US citizen. I'm going to be circumnavigating for a few years. I have a potential crew member that has a Venezuelan passport that that we would be picking up in Columbia. This is for an unpaid crewing opportunity. Does anyone have any idea how much of a problem this would create with with customs and immigration in all the countries that we are likely to visit?

Here is a list of some of the places along our general route:

Panama Canal
Marquesas
⦾ Society Islands
Tonga
⦾ Fuji
New Zealand
New Caledonia and the Solomons or Tavalu, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Caroline Islands, Palau, and the Philippines
Chagos
⦾ Mauritius and/or Reunion
Madagascar
South Africa
⦾ St. Helena
⦾ Ascension
⦾ Lesser Antilles
⦾ Virgin islands

If they arrive with the boat and are on the Crew List, are leaving with the boat and/or you are prepared to cover the cost of repatriation then no problem.
Just follow normal clearing in proceedures.

Re: Circumnavigating with a Venezuelan Passport

^^ yes, except if he wants to get off the boat in some places I believe there is going to be visa requirements where there is none for an American - this is true for instance in Panama.

Again panama just as an example:

STAMPED VISA: IF YOU ARE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES ... YOU WILL NEED A STAMPED VISA. IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A STAMPED VISA, YOU WILL NEED TO SEND US ALL THE SAME PAPERWORK AS IS LISTED ABOVE FOR THE AUTHORIZED VISA.

Please be advised: for stamped visas, the approval process may take up to 30 business days, depending on the verification and completion of your documents. Do not finalize your travel arrangements until your visa has been granted.

NOTE: IF THE VISA IS GRANTED, YOU MUST COME PERSONALLY TO THE CONSUALTE TO GET THE VISA STAMPED ON YOUR PASSPORT
