- You have redone at least one perfectly good job - simply because you were not quite happy, despite having other jobs where the time and effort would have been better spent.

- You don't keep an eye on the weather forecast.

- You have re-dedicated your Nav area for tool storage / a workbench.

- You have more plans to do stuff onboard than you have once she is finished.

- Your everlasting refit is a standing joke - even to yourself .

- Two years into the refit you remember the PO saying "it could be in the water in a week."

-The garden hose is permanently plumbed to the intake strainer to run the diesel.

-Forgotten where the deck hardware bolts go.

-Have acquired 7 anchors but still don't have a foresail.

-Have considered making a trimaran "houseboat" with those big blue plastic barels.

- Getting your shots means your yearly flu shot.

-People have stopped asking when you're leaving.

...You have been saying "the haul out is in 2 or 3 weeks" for six months... And you really REALLY mean it this time!

- You build a permanent deck around it on the hard
- You have a mast but just don't know where it is right now
- You don't have any sails but that is OK, they are last on the "to-do" list
- Your tools needed list is longer than your to-do list

others?
you need a jackhammer to get the old engine beds out!

You notice the invoice for the expensive electronics you're about to install is dated 2002.

Re: You Might Have a Project Boat If...

You need to use antifoul paint on your decks to keep moss from growing.

Re: You Might Have a Project Boat If...

As I looked at the entire plumbing system, the entire electrical system and half the cabinetry laying on the ground next to the boat, it was clear it was a project boat.
