Which is the "correct" propeller

I have two propellers. The one currently on the boat is three bladed and has the following stamps on it:

2 68
14RH10

I am told that some previous owner swapped out a 2 blade propeller for this three blade.

I found a 2 blade propeller in the stuff left behind and it is stamped

9 79
13RH13

The engine is a Yanmar 2QM 15 with a Kanzaki Huth transmission with a 2.14 gear ratio.

Because of damage to my propeller shaft (which was probably mostly old age) I am wondering if the three blade is the correct propeller to have on the boat.

Thank you as always.

Re: Which is the "correct" propeller

They’re both the correct prop (less pitch on the three blade). Until you check your alignment and engine mounts and confirm them both good, they’re far more likely candidates for the type of shaft failure you experienced.
