A running bobstay is the answer. You don't need a bobstay at anchor. You do need a bow roller fixed to the hull and not cantilevered outboard where the leverage can be damaging.
I wouldn't have a design where the only way to hold the mast up is from a bowsprit - just asking for trouble.

A snubber shackled to the stem bobstay fitting, roller-hitch to the chain when payed out.
