Where Can I Find Lexan?

Any glass shop that sells plexiglass should have it. I'd take the old one and get them to use it as a template. Lexan does scratch easily so you may want to consider safety glass.

If you get Lexan, be very certain it has a UV coating.

You may want to look at HD on-line. Store stocks vary.

A few years ago I used Midland Plastics, New Berlin, Wi.
262-938-7000...(good web site)...they have a marine division
but I did not mention the boat. They fabricated a new foward
hatch lense and main camp/way lense...I sent them the old
ones as templates and they matched right down to making
the screw holes in the exact position. Fair price and very easy
to deal with. Also matched the color.

I've bought quite a bit of lexan up to 1" from these guys: Plexiglass sheets, Acrylic plastic, Lexan sheet, Fabrication, Fiberglass Panels, Teflon in Stock They're in San Diego but they have a "Buy online" link at the bottom. I've never bought online from them but the folks in their store here know their stuff.

Make sure it's Lexan you want, rather than extruded acrylic? Personally, I won't put Lexan on my boat. Try doing a search here for it, you'll see we've had plenty of discussions, and you'll see why.

You never mentioned that it was tinted in your original post. Maritime Plastics in Annapolis, MD can duplicate your glazing if you send them a template...see here: Maritime Plastics .Their work is first class and inexpensive.

Yea, lexan gets promoted a lot, but I've had plastics people tell me it's not as strong as some other products, and the anti-scratch coating is not really that good either... not sure of the details...
