Question Village Marine Watermaker Pressure Vessel Source?

I have a Village Marine 'Little Wonder' 8gph modular watermaker. I need to change the RO element and, don't you know, Village Marine sold me a 38" pressure vessel that uses what appears to be a non-standard element (SW2540 - S) available only from VM and at one heck of a price - more than double a SW30-2540 from Filmtec.

I plan to change the pressure vessel to one that accepts the 40" elements. I'll check w/ VM, but a lot of their stuff is out-sourced. Does anyone know who makes VM's pressure vessels and/or have a good source for a new pressure vessel assembly? I'd like to stay w/ the VM vessel as I can use the existing end fittings.

FWIW, I am a dealer for Village Tech. I sell mostly to cruising sailors at 25% off retail. Not much profit on it, mainly trying to help cruisers get and stay launched.

If this is an improper post, I apologize. Feel free to move or remove it.

We'd appreciate y'all keeping any "commercial" discussion out of the public forums. Use the PM feature in your User CP.
