Unglued

One of the hinges on my Bomar series 2000 port has separated from the flat (smoked plastic) portlight. The bond from hinge-to-plastic was so strong that the hinge has a divot of the plastic still attached to it (see photo). And, of course, the plastic has a pit in it.

How do I best repair this? Thanks, Rich

Re: Unglued

If you have some West Systems epoxy, I find it glues smooth, hard surfaces well. You don't need much, it's common, so I you don't have any, a marina mate might.
