Undersole Hose and Wire Management

I'd like to sort out and secure the undersole water hoses and wires. Right now they are just laying or hanging as they pass through the bilge sections.

I can attach the mounting rails either to the underside of the sole or by fiberglassing the rail to the hull bottom. The hoses and wires will be attached to the rail.

Would love to see examples of similar solutions. How'd you do it?

Re: Undersole Hose and Wire Management

Consider using 3" PVC conduit. There is also the double sided tape/snap together square PVC conduit used for computer cables etc in office spaces etc found in home depot. This basically wraps around the existing cables and hoses and snaps shut along it length without having to disconnect anything. Looks very neat and easy to attach provided isopropyl alcohol used to clean the sticking surface. It can of course also be screwed into place.

Re: Undersole Hose and Wire Management

I agree with everything Tin Tin has said. (I used a lot of square electrical conduit with snap on lids) I also used a lot of cable ties. Many cables have been tagged with black cloth adhesive tape with the purpose of the cable marked in white ink. There are a lot of different type tags available.
