Transferable Warranty ?

I would like input on transferable warranty on brands of boats you have owned .

---- did it cost $ or no charge ?
-----did you even have a claim , and how did it go ?
----- does the MFG have clear warranty information on their website ?


I know some manufacturers don't offer a transferable hull warranty ( as in my case ) but I was able to transfer the Suzuki outboard warranty .


Just trying to see if there is a standard that most boat companies follow .

Thanks for the info . I have been on the first site , and have talked to Transport Canada , I will research the Quebec site tonight .
