Touch Up Interlux Perfection?

Hi everyone,
I just got do putting the third (and what I had hoped was the final coat) of perfection on my hull. It all looks pretty good besides one spot where it was applying a little thick and started to sag. I was wondering if anyone has tried, or knows if you can touch it up. I feel that if I want to fix this little spot, I have to sand and add a new coat to the whole boat.

Try a test patch first. Paint something other than your boat. Put an intentional sag in it and let it dry. Then try sanding it out with some very fine wet or dry sandpaper and then some coarse medium and fine buffing compound.

Experiment a few times before trying the same thing on your boat.

What David said. Try the series products from 3M, or Meguires for cars. You may be able to polish it out. From their instructions, it looks like it MIGHT work:

PROCEDURE FOR CORRECTING RUNS AND SAGS
As with all polyurethanes Perfection should be applied in multiple thin coats. When applied in heavy coats, runs and sags may appear due to the thin nature of the coating. Generally it is best to start with the rubbing compound to try and correct the runs or sags, if the rubbing compound does not work then proceed with sanding. The following procedure has proven successful in correcting runs and sags within 48 hours after applying:
1) Sand smooth with 1200 working if need be to 600 grit wet or dry.
2) Use 3M™ 260L Finishing Film P1200 with Low Profile Finishing Disc Pad.
3) (Optional) For reduced compounding, use 3M Trizact™ Hookit™ II Foam Discs, Grade 3000.
4) 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Rubbing Compound with any Superbuff™ Compound Pad.
5) 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Machine Glaze with Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad.
6) 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Finishing Glaze with Perfect-It™ DA Glazing Pad.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am worried about this:

Maybe I will just deal with it, it isn't too bad.

It's likely that NO ONE, except you, will ever see the sag. Frankly, I'd leave it.

What color is it? The lighter the color the less obvious. I also tend to agree with bstreep, unless it is really gross, I would leave it alone.

Well, I haven't decided 100% yet, but I will probably leave it. Although the tape did peel a little bit of it off by the toerail, this really got be upset. I am going to just try to touch those spots up that peeled a little, and if that doesn't turn out well I will just do another coat. I don't understand why the paint lifted at this one spot, I am sure it was prepared right.

I figured I would tell everyone my results. I am going to leave the spot with the sag, but good things about the spot that lifted with the tape. I just made up a really small batch (45mL), and thinned it really well. I took a small foam brush, and loaded only one corner at a time. It turned out great, I actually tried to find the spots after about and hour and I couldn't. So no worries. This did kind of encourage me a little to try to fix the spot with the sag, but it really isn't that bad, most don't even notice it so I will just leave it because that will let me get in the water that much earlier.
