The rails are coming

Actually the welder is coming. WE have traded with a welder , he is going to add rails around the cockpit ( instead of lifelines) and fashion davits for us. The rails go on Saturday, the davits will arrive later.
Oh and ordered the new wire, and turnbuckles. Once the parts arrive we will be off to replace the standing rigging. Let me tell you 12 turnbuckles is no joke to purchase. No we will not step the mast to replace the wire, this will be standing. Up the mast replacing one piece at a time.
I am looking forward to doing the job though.
