I also recommend the Kollmann book.

I’m not familiar with “The Box Book” ~ by Mike Adler. Clinton Ct USA: Adler/Barbour(Kenyon) International Marine, 1985.

Neither am I familiar with “Refrigeration for Pleasure Boats: Installation, Maintenance and Repair” ~ by Nigel Calder
International Marine Publishing (December 1990)
ISBN-10: 0877422869
ISBN-13: 978-0877422860

I'm not familiar with "The Box Book", but Michael Adler is in the sailing club we were members of when we lived in Virginia. He's an extremely knowledgeable guy, so I'd bet it's a good resource if you can find it.

Thank you so much for your replies! I'll get the Kollmann book soon. I own the Calder book and as for the Box book, it might be dated but I'll keep looking. Gord, as always your links are wonderful. Thank you very much. I'm collecting as much info as possible on 'boxes because I would like to design a box that uses my new Adler Barbour super coldmachine with one holding plate as both a freezer and a 'fridge by circulating the air up to the 'fridge area with a small thermostatic fan. This would be a small box in total cubic feet. Thanks again, Chris
