Teak Decking on old 301 in Sarasota has a little shop in front of their factory that sells teak off-cuts very inexpensively. I picked up quite a few 8' x 6" x 3/8" pieces that I had a friend run through a joiner to smooth and reduce to 5/16" which we then laminated together to make 5/8" planks that we used to make trim boards aboard our boat. The same would work for you although you might need some overlapping scarfs length-wise to get the width you need. That shouldn't be too tough. I have a great boat carpenter if you need someone to do that for you. Just send me a PM.
Cheers,
s/v HyLyte
