Swing Keel Sun Odessey 32

The swing keel on my SO32 has excessive play so that it bangs around in the keel box. One of the pads inside the keel box has moved but even refixing this still leaves too much play. Any ideas as to how to address the problem as larger pads may impede the lift pulleys?
