We keep a
Hunter 19 docked at the lake. I am somewhat picky about the boat's appearance and maintain the
teak well. The UV rays here are strong and tree sap also gets on the
gelcoat,
teak and
lexan. I would prefer to be sailing rather than buffing and waxing.
I saw a
boat in an ad that had some custom sun covers made which attached to the
mast and stanchions that covered the topsides at a height of 30 inches or so. I wanted to buy or
purchase a set for my
boat. The best recommendation that I have heard so far is to get them custom made by a guy here who sews for a boat company.
Anyone have any experience with sun shades or suggestions or where to obtain them.
