Source for stainless steel backing plates?

Any suggestions for where I can get stainless steel backing plates? Btw, I'm in California though that may not matter.

If you ever go to the LA area, M&K Metal in Gardena is the go to place, or at least it was when I lived in LA. Onlinemetals.com is easy to deal with and will ship, but not cheap. Or just Google “Metal Supply” and your location.

I'm from Australia but when I need SS off-cuts I go to a SS Fabricator or SS Supplier (who often have (say) 1m lengths)

You didn't indicate what the backing plates were for, nor if they were an original part.
