Source for old Force 10 Oven burner cap

I need a cast iron oven burner cap for a Force 10 stove installed back in the 80's. Does anyone have a source for these?

I have written Force 10. They're the ones who sent me the photo of what to look for.

Excellent question. I need the same rebuild parts for my 1995 three burner Force 10. I hope someone know where they can be obtained.

For the top burners I bought their stainless steel upgrades. The installation took me a while, but it was worth it.

On the outside chance a Taylor's gas stove bit is sufficiently similar I'd try these guys. I've bought from them.

What was involved in that update?

It required removing the stove top entirely, along with front panel controls. The new stainless burners come with their own copper hook ups, and there are the thermocouples and sparker wires to be run and routed.

I tried to find some photos, but all I have are the ones I posted in a blog. I really do try NOT to be a 'blog flogger' on here,( I hate spammers) but if you want to see some photos of the stove top and the stainless burners go to this post

2 Gringos in the Caribbean: Same Old Story, Same Old Song and Dance

and scroll down about two thirds of the way through it you'll see some images of the old stove taken apart and the new burner. They're working quite well, incidentally. Use them every day.

I'm still waiting for any suggestions from Force 10. And I have just written the Taylor people in the UK about it. Will let you all know if I find anything useful.

I also replaced my stove burners with new tops and all the associated copper tubing and in my opinion the stove flame is far better then with the old type burner tops, looks much cleaner as well.
A bit of disasembly required as Canibul indicated, but easily done, just ensure connections are good and snug but don't overtorque or twist the tubing, I did mine over the winter in the shed which facilitated access. I was also missing a burner top from my force 10 bulkhead heater so I used the small one i removed from the stove and fit perfectly.

Re: Source for old Force 10 Oven burner cap

We had even an older stove; we, too, replaced the burners and agree that they are far superior.

It's a bit of a wrestling match; we took the stove out, and had to dremel out the old bases, as they were warped (aluminum), and, as well, open a small place for a bump not present on the old ones.

Mine's a wordless workshop (does PM still do those?) version of our replacement, here:

Pictures: Flying Pig Shakedown 2013-2014/Stove Burners

F10 was kind enough to send me a replacement orifice to allow hotter burning on one of the front burners; our previous had that feature, and the full-open setting on the small burners is just a little under what we'd like for some chores.

In our case, the burner bases themselves were actually warped, and took a different type of cap, so you might get by with caps if you could find them...

Thanks. I looked at their web site, and it's not there.

Joceline (Force 10) tells me they used to buy them from a company in France.
