Re: Solar vents- safe for offshore?

Jib sheets can get caught on the if hit just right. For $180 they are too cheaply made and don't provide very much ventilation. I had one on the forward hatch on my last boat so it was right above my head when I slept in the v berth. Not the worst things ever, but not worth it, not worth cutting a hole.
