Shipmate Propane Stove - Oven won't stay lit?

...So, the 'red button' thermocouple needs to be held down for like 3 minutes before it'll hold, and the oven goes out consistently after about 25 minutes, no matter what.

It never worked properly when we bought the boat, and until I turned it down, the pilot light was like 6 inches tall - if it weren't for the spare valve in the 'parts drawer,' I'd never have figured out how to adjust that.

It's a great stove, and works great other than the stove going out; I would like to rebuild it - eventually - rather than just buy a new one, so hopefully we can figure this out.

I can't find much at all online about these stoves, so anyone who might be able to offer a suggestion or two will be thanked profusely.
