sea chest

Hi Fellow Boaters

Could someone be able to give me some advice and plans or drawings on fabricating a sea chest for my 42' steel trawler. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Capt Nemo

Re: sea chest

Typically all of the steel boats I'm on have keel cooled engines, and a piece of heavy wall pipe welded to the hull with several valves for things like washdown pumps.
