Saniflex packing wrap

Am I correct in assuming this white plastic is packing wrapped around the hose?

Re: Saniflex packing wrap

What else could it be? Maybe you could take it up with Raritan?

The only oher thing I can think of is that it is a marker for re-order purposes?

Re: Saniflex packing wrap

I took it off when I installed my hose, but wondered if it shouldn’t be left on. I believe it’s there to keep the white hose, white, cause it easily gets dirty.
