Dropped the rudder and pushed out the well worn poly bushes. Took them and rudder to boat savvy machine shop. Low buck, one man shop. He got correct
bronze and machined out the fresh bushes on his lathe for $100 cash. While the poly bushes were well worn inside, the outside was still original diameter/shape and measurements were take from it and rudder shaft for inside bore. 3M 5200 to
bed them back in, installed rudder right away to assure proper alignment. Only in for one season, they should last a long time hopefully.
