rudder bearing question

Great Story. This needs a further detailed long post!

I replaced the rudder bearing and the problem was getting the old one off/out. In the end the mechanic at the yard did it with a torch. YIKES. It took heat to free it up. After that the new one went in pretty quick.

Mechanics know lots of neat tricks. Who woulda thought?
