Rig Tension guage - metric

Hi all;

We have the original rigging on our boat (except for one shroud). I need to tune the rig, and want to buy a tension guage. The ones listed at defender are all english sized, fractional like 9/32. Can I get an accurate read using one of these, using the next size bigger in english? Or is there a source for a tension guage that is reasonable in price that is metric?
