Replacing the Dishwasher

Has anyone here changed out the dish washer on board? (talking about the mechanicalone not the second mate)

Replace the dishwasher on my boat and you'll eliminate the captain as well!!!!

I have a really special dishwasher. It retrieves the dishes, washes/dries and then places them in the cupboard. I have to keep the wife on though. When wever she goes, I can't make the dishwasher work at all. It seems to lose all those automatic features.

I am looking for a unit that is not quit full size that will stand up to the beating it may get while underway. The marine units I have found are on the small side. I read in one of the posts that one of the members added a dish washer and water consumption went down. I can not find this post to ask him how the longevity is working out on the unit.
Once again I am looking for a mechanincal dishwasher and not replies in regards to your second mate or your own two hands This unit is for a larger boat that is used for entertaining aboard.
