I would avoid steam; you're likely going to
wind up messing up the finish a bit.
It looks relatively flat, and so I'd suggest taking the entire piece out, putting a thin layer of glue underneath the teak veneer (shooting it as far in as possible, and then clamping with a flat piece of
wood that is bigger than the area being glued. If it's not flat, then clamp with a piece of
wood that has been shaped to the same profile.
Use
freezer paper between the piece you are clamping and the
plywood so that if any glue that finds its way out it doesn't end up binding the two pieces together.
