Re: Removing bottom paint and saving my marriage

This thread began in July and it is now December. The urgent advice the OP was seeking was in regards to a vacation that occurred months ago. When moderators select threads to add to the news letter, it would be great if they took things like this into consideration.

You might want to think about deleting this post. The dates are listed in dd/mm/yyyy order. Seems someone in Langkawi would know that.

Thank you,
I stand corrected. I assumed that since this forum is based in USA that it used the US format.

I frequently look back at the date of the OP and never realized the forum adopted a more international look.

And, ps. both Malaysia and the Philippines utilizes both formats which was always a bother when coming to government forms.

And, by the way, the 8th month of the year is August not July. Or is it different in the Philippines?

Re: Removing bottom paint and saving my marriage

A note regarding the drying process: Just letting it sit to dry is not enough. As the water evaporates, the salt is left behind & the salt will absorb moisture from the air. After grinding, a thorough wash from a hose (not pressure washer!) is then followed by a liberal brushing of rubbing alcohol. The alcohol will absorb the water & take it with it as it evaporates (It's how lab equipment is dried after washing).
