Sorry Ram, no it's a Perkins. Don't going looking for a "Yanmar" unit. I doubt they make one and if they do, I imagine it would be expensive. I would go the a Truck parts supplier.
You can use any size filter, with bigger being better, but just ensure it uses the same pressure bypass system the Yanmar one has if it uses one in the filter.
Pat can tell you what it uses.

I happen to have a Westerbeke, they sell a nice remote package. My filter was basically not accessable, now I can change without a probem.
